Woodhouse Hotel is so named because it is furnished with reels and pallets from the Boffi spa company, which owns the property.
The three-story 1970s building, originally used for the company’s offices, was recovered and transformed into a hotel in 2015 after six months of intense work.
Woodhouse was born from the will of Rebecca Brollo, graduated in Urban Planning between the Polytechnic University of Milan and Tongji University in Shanghai. Her aim is to regenerate a part of Cinisello Balsamo.
Rebecca has personally followed the construction site and designed the renovation of Woodhouse together with her father Giuseppe Brollo, architect and Health and Safety Manager of the Boffi company for several years.
The hotel rooms have been characterized by decorations and furnishings born from the recovery of waste wood from the adjacent production.
This choice was dictated by the desire to tell the story of the transformation of the building and the relationship with the context that surrounds it, with an eye to the impact of this activity on the environment.

Woodhouse hotel has joined Repower’s Green Inside world and with this decision we want to show our support to a more environmentally friendly way of living and working. Repower provides us with electricity produced at the hydroelectric power plant in Grosio (SO).

We wash both bath and bed linens in-house, so we have total control over the process. We have chosen to use energy-efficient appliances and dry textiles naturally without using an iron.
The hotel was born from the ashes of an abandoned office building, owned by Boffi spa, and was furnished and decorated in part with reclaimed wood from the production waste of the company. We have given new life to a building of the 70s trying to tell the relationship with the carpentry next door through the key element: wood.
Woodhouse hotel informs its guests and its network of supporters through their social channels and the blog about green initiatives in the world and the actions implemented in the hotel towards a greater attention to the environment.

Bed linen, as per the regulations for 2* hotels, is changed at least 2 times a week, while bathroom linen is changed at least 3 times a week.
